Calling all aerial photography enthusiasts, we are hosting a drone giveaway and all you have to do to enter is submit your own drone photos and videos. Starting March 1, 2018, prizes will be drawn on March 31, 2018.

We’re giving away the Fat Shark 101 drone racing trainer and Manfrotto Gear Backpack. Enter at the end of this article for your chance to win!

Fat Shark 101

We took in the racing scene at the Drone Rodeo of CES 2018. Fat Shark was on hand with their Fat Shark 101 trainer, a fun little drone that comes in the perfect package with a remote control, FPV headset and the drone. This is not a drone that will grow with you to the pro circuits in the racing leagues, but is perfect for the beginner pilot or as a fun quad for the off-season.

We haven’t had the chance to fly the Fat Shark 101 since CES, we’re looking forward to getting it in house as well, to join in the fun. For now, be sure to check out our coverage of the Drone Rodeo at CES 2018 to see the 101 in action.

Photo and video entries

We are offering extra entries to the final draw if you submit your own drone photos and videos. Video submissions are limited to YouTube and photo submissions from Instagram, Facebook and Twitter. We had a tough time making this decision, and we’ll do our best to open additional submissions methods for future – we weren’t sure how to verify that photos and videos you upload belong to you, so we’ll leave it to the established platforms to help with that.

By submitting photos or videos, you agree that your submissions are your own captured media. You also verify that you flew the drone legally to capture these images. We reserve the right to remove any image or video that we believe displays a violation of airspace laws.

We have no guidelines on the types of media you submit – send in your landscape shots, your whale watching videos, your follow-me video down the ski slope, your selfie from the beach, we want to see it all! We are allowing the community to vote on all submitted photos and videos, maybe you can get the most votes while you’re at it.

Note: We are manually approving every photo and video submission, your dog, cat and underwear photos will be rejected, you will not get those extra entries.
