Description
The Potensic Dreamer 4K is an impressive drone offering from this toy maker. Potensic has been building up their catalog of inexpensive machines offering multiple options for first time pilots or enthusiasts that dabble in the hobby. The Dreamer 4K is one of the better machines in the toy-class range, it’s larger, but light-weight, and it has great flight time.
We cannot deny that we are frustrated by them putting “4K” in the name of this drone, considering it does not shoot 4K video. Granted, it does have a 4K sensor, and it captures images at that 3840×2160 resolution, but video is at 2688×1512, so buyer beware. Sample footage from the drone looks to be slightly higher-quality than the DJI Spark, but a little more wobbly. You’ll likely be happy with the results, but their image stabilization needs a touch more work.
In the end, the Potensic Dreamer 4K is a solid toy-class drone, but we’d recommend waiting for sales or increasing your budget just a little to grab the DJI Mavic Mini, the Dreamer 4K is a tad overpriced at $299.99.
